the second coat is dry enough for another coat

the light reflects nicley through to the wood

the third coat is on except the front and it is getting a lot darker

at sometime I bumped the back and rubbed the varnish off

now the back is really starting to shine though all the little dents, scratches and imperfections just jump out

here you can see the dents from the depth punch

the back corners look better than the front

this corner looks ok

the rich varnish is looking quite thick when it is wet

the ribs are one area I am quite happy with

now the front is not so great, lots of brush marks and is very blotchy, varnishing is an area I am having great diffculty with and I am not to happy with it
