after cleaning the glue off they look like this

one mistake is that the depth punch out little dents on the back plate

even after hot water and more scraping they remain, oop's

using a needle file and scraper to clean up the scroll and the undercut

using scrapers on the belly around to finish off the lines where the channel runs into the arching
