scapers, files and a knife to clean up the neck root

the button is getting there

one nice clean button

now time to start at the nut end of the scroll

the nut is close to it's final shape but I will return to it when it comes time to fit up

the nut is a lot lower thatn when it was a blank

after using a knife and small file the corners are pretty much done

they look pretty close to each other
