now switching to the scraper to smooth it out

I love scraping the ebony, it is so smooth to work with

measuring the fingerboard to get the correct length

the line is drawn and now to cut it out

it is only a small piece that I cut off

getting ready to temp glue the fingerboard on

a few dabs of hide glue and it is on

cutting the excess with small groves makes it easier to remove the excess wood with a chisel

planing the sides of the neck root down
