getting some spruce sawdust for filler

here is my home made filler, pity if did not work real well when I went to use it

all the purfling is trimmed and ready for gluing in

here you can see big gaps where I messed up the groove, that spruce is touchy stuff

the ball end of the hammer is more for pushing the purfling in than hitting anything

purfling is not one of my best points, lots more practice is needed

next instrument I make I am going to maching cut the groove a doing it by hand is frustrating
