setting the purfling marker for the outer line
after markign the outer line I switch to some test wood to set the inner cutter
both lines now marked but the ring lines give a slight bump in it
i have yet to mark in the corners
I have come to the conclusion I do not like purfling by hand, the hole is too deep and very sloppy as it is pretty difficult
here we have the groove going all the way around, a messy groove at that
the spruce chips so easily so I saved the bit to glue back in
this is one of three I have to glue back in
here are the three pieces which are marked with pencil so they go back in the right place
all set to do some gluing, a little glue, small brush and some hot water

as of today, 28th Jan 2007 this is what I am upto, next step installing the belly purfling
