a new ibex palm plane ready to go

this plane is really nice, though a little tough to hold after a while

slowly shaping the lower bouts which is not to bad with the palm plane

it is going to be a slow job starting from the bottom working up

after 3 hours I have got this far and still lots to go

now it is time to spin the plate around and start from the other end

three kittle planes and about 5 hours later!

at the end of the day I have the rough shape showing

looks like a pregnant cello
