After the plane it was back to the gouge to reduce the edge thickness
thie piece of pine helps stop the back slide around
I was extra careful around the button as I imagine it would be pretty fragile
the gouge works well to reduce the excess in the c-bout
the swivel lights help keep everything in perspective
now switching to the file to square the edge off and finsh it down to just before the line
the edge is starting to look pretty clean
this little finger plane was cheap but works well on the outer edges
the plane and the file, at the moment my two best friends
one of those "OOP's" moments, getting a bit to heavy with the file and I hit it on the upstroke, a little chip that will need fixing
a little bit of glue and tomorrow it will be ok
with one c-bout left to clean up it it is getting close
this is going to be one chubby cello but I love it!
