you can see the high and low spots on the rib under the board
the flat board works a treat for showing where the ribs requires planing to keep true
the gap is alsmost gone now
the ribs are now trimmed down but still a fraction higher than the blocks, I will finish them after fitting the linings
a good view to see the rib heights
after trimming all the corners the final shape has emerged
the lines seem really smooth and clean
again another view, I will finalise the corners when I am ready to glue the plates on
overall the shape of this cello really delights me
now the block plane comes out again for trimming the corners down
