planing one edge of the cornerblock wood flat as it had a bit of a twist in it
after marking the first corner block it came time to cut it out. I did the same things as the endblocks to stop splits but turning it around to finish the cut
this time I used the endblock on the end grain, a far better choice of tool as it gave a much nicer surface
planing all sides square and true now
this block has a nice sap line running through it, not enough room spare to avoid it but by the time it is all finished it does not effect it
all the blocks ready to go
fitting screws to the mold to raise it for the correct height to glue the blocks in
verneers work well to set the screws to the same height
warming the glue up in my improvised wax pot
checking the block in the mold to make sure it is well seated
thats it, the blocks glued in and now to leave it overnight to let the glue set
