my little bench to allow me to work away from home
here you can see the ends of where the drill stopped
the sides take a bit of work to even up and it is easy to split if going against the grain
using my hand with a kevlar glove to protect the front of the scroll from damage
removing the excess form the walls
an upside down chisel works well for cleaning the floor
I left a bit of excess here that I will remove later, so I do not damage the area behind the nut
the floor is starting to leek a bit cleaner now. I am really surprised on how much effort if took to create the pegbox!
the pegbox is nearly there now and just needs a little more cleaning up
these are the chisels and gouges I used to hollow out the peg box.
