the back varnish looked like it was going to sag a bit so I layed it flat to stop it, maybe I went a bit to thick

now the scroll always seems lighter in colour even though it has had the same amount of coats

thick patches and lots of rough parts, it sure looks hand made

as usual the varnish here is a little all over the place with brush strokes going every way

now you can see how much room there is under the belly
|
this forth coat is the best one yet though still a bit rough

coat four after 24 hours, it is looking nice but a little lighter than the back

coat 4 after 24 hours, the back is a little darker than the front but I am happy with this so no more colour
