Saw cuts for the second turn

again from the side, just above the line

removing the excess wood bit by bit

taking it easy around the end as it would be way to easy to chip off
|
cleaning up the sharp edges
|

again from the front, with different light
|
different angles to check for being square
|
|
|
starting to hollow out the walls
|
this is by far the hardest part to do without making a bad mistake or leaving serious tool marks
|

I have started to chamfer one edge to get an idea of the look
|
looks like I have a chunky scroll!
|
Unfortunatly I pressed to hard with the scribe when laying out the pattern so the dots are deep and hard to remove
